The Timberjack Challenge is a team-based event, organized by the Me Fine Foundation. Our obstacle course workout group had two teams partake in this event. And although it was “only” a 5K, there were 31 obstacles, and the race took about an hour. We ran the 5K distance almost exclusively in mud, which was rather strenuous. The run through the ditch at the end felt like it was going on forever. The video doesn’t really show that well, as I cut much of that out. Two of the more challenging obstacles were the 10ft wall and the weaver. We were the only recreational team to finish in under an hour. Within the competitive team roster we would have placed 3rd. Not bad.
